Dr. Forum was born and raised in Mumbai, India. Her interest in dentistry was sparked by a visit to her local dentist, as it made her realize that she was eager to help people restore their smiles and the functionality of their teeth. Dr. Forum graduated with honors in India and was ranked by the University amongst the top five students when she received her Bachelors in Dentistry (BDS) from YMT Dental College, India. She also won two JRD TATA scholarship awards in 2003/04 and 2005/06. She then came to the USA for higher studies, where she pursued her Masters in Dental Public Health(MPH) at UMDNJ in New Jersey. Soon after she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious New York University Dental School in 2013. Dr. Forum graduated from NYU with Honors in Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr Forum absolutely loves dentistry and loves treating people, which she says is a wonderful combination. “I am so grateful to be a part of dentistry where I know I can make a positive difference in someone's life. I love to see that spark in your smile." She really cares about her patients and will go the extra mile to help achieve the best possible outcome for her patients.
Apart from the satisfaction of providing general dentistry, Dr Forum is also drawn to implant dentistry, and is highly motivated to restore smiles with implants, the biggest innovation in dentistry. She actively participates in implant training, continuing education programs and constantly enhances her skills to help patients achieve the best results. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Connecticut State Dental Association, Hartford Dental Society and the Implant Dental Association.
When not working, she loves spending time and chatting with her family. Her hobbies include painting, especially with a lot of colors, and cooking, especially Indian and Italian food, reading, listening to good music, and going for walks. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and is currently training in Spanish :).
